![]() Still have to deal with the vertical open space the leg fairing makes close to the frame and motor. ![]() It's not a fix all or makes it a waterproof bubble but is a nice addition to help keep a little more wind off the knees. So with both of them fully extended in the up position, it kept the little bit of rain off. When I looked down I could see the left knee on my pants a little damp. ![]() I pushed it up and felt like it kept that little bit of rain at highway speed off my both knees after that. Just enough to get the top of the knee wet. Coming home, caught a little light spat of rain. So I only left it down for about 5 minutes and raised it haha. Left one of the deflectors down, and could feel it on my knee. There is a very noticeable difference with the wind on the knee. Got some pics of them installed up close at the mount and how far it sticks above the top of the leg fairing.ħ0 mile round trip. But you can move it so it will be clear to let wind through. And with the fairing door open and deflector down, it will block the air coming through if it's hot. So there's just a slight method to open and close them. The lower door on the fairing won't open with the deflector down all the way. The bushings installed through the deflector mount and cinched up nicely. Probably the most straight forward part removal on any Indian motorcycle haha! Drilled a pilot and then a little larger, then I didn't have a bit as big as the bushing, but got them to fit in. I tried them open and closed and held them in place with the lower fairing installed. ![]() My little compressor for the air horns I had to relocate slightly. Always got to be something to cause some grief. Backordered til today I think was the date. ![]()
